Selectron Donates Installation of VES Fire Detection System for TLC
As part of giving back to Bermuda, Selectron have donated the cost of the installation of a new VES Elite fire detection system to the new Transformational Living Centre (TLC).
Under the direction of Habitat for Humanity and the Women’s Resource Centre, the TLC for families is a purpose designed housing shelter on Parson’s Road in Pembroke (the former Pembroke Rest Home). The TLC will address the growing problem of homelessness among families with children in Bermuda. It will also make provision (in a secure area) to accommodate emergency housing needs.
The centre is now covered by a fully addressable and fully monitored fire detection system from VES utilizing the new Elite RS Two Loop system perfectly suited to this residential multi purpose building.
The all new, Elite product range of fire alarm control equipment from VES combines the very latest hardware and software to produce a control and indication system, which is powerful and sophisticated, yet simple to use and understand. The flexibility of the Elite platform is such that it can be re-configured to realize many other control and indication applications, with direct integration into intelligent buildings. The system is monitored 24/7 by an IP/GSM fire communicator that offers dual path monitoring via the network with GSM back-up and meets all of the 2021/22 code compliancy standards as set out by both the NFPA and Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service.
