MEET THE TEAM

Martin has over 25 years in the security industry. He started Selectron in 2004 out of his car with a ladder on the roof and prides himself on the service and quality product Selectron provides.

As long time friends with Martin, Chris has seen Selectron’s journey since 2004. He could see the vision and potential of Selectron and became a Partner in 2014. With Chris’s strong operational background along with over twenty five years of experience in sales and marketing for two large international companies, he brings a wealth of experience to this young vibrant team.

In today’s world, clever tech and cloud computing enable many of us to work from anywhere. Joan is our remote/virtual Executive Assistant who Joined Selectron in August 2016 following 9 years of corporate experience in the construction industry. In recognition of her growing role and commitment to Selectron Joan was promoted to Operations Manager in December 2023 and heads up our service and maintenance team and deals with all invoicing, customer enquiries, requests for service and all system maintenance scheduling.

Paul is our in house IT expert. That combined with over 10 years in the security industry means that Paul brings a wealth of knowledge to IP CCTV products and Intruder alarm programming systems.

After an initial interest in auto mechanics, Erik decided to pursue a career in the security industry. Given this eye for technical detail, in the 5 years Erik has been with Selectron he has quickly progresses to becoming both a Honeywell Security and CCTV system specialist.

As the former manager of security at the Tagatay Highlands Golf Club outside Manila in the Philippines, Jovel brings Selectron 20 years of experience in managing security, network and telecommunications systems. With a strong IT background and a knowledge of the latest technology in CCTV camera systems we are very pleased to have Jovel joining Selectron and further strengthening our team.

Commencing his employment in August 2020 and with a background in network operations and AV cabling, Steven brings these skills to Selectron and a security industry where network based operating systems for intrusion detection, CCTV, fire and door access control are now standard and knowledge in both installation and maintenance essential to support this fast growing and ever-changing market.

The newest addition to our team De’Quan commenced with Selectron in July of 2021 after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Therapy from Birmingham University in September 2020. After an intensive six months of training with Honeywell, VES and Inaxsys De’Quan is now part of the installation and maintenance team covering all aspects of intrusion detection, fire detection and CCTV camera systems.

Joining the Selectron Team in September 2023, Justin brings his wealth of experience in CCTV Video Analytics and Telecommunications. After starting out in the security industry Justin also worked in the electrical field in Bermuda to gain valuable experience with both high and low voltage wiring, problem solving and programming. Justin has found his passion is working closely with clients to deliver security solutions specific to each persons needs, offering the peace of mind that comes with a secure home or business premises.
