It's only a 5k run and all for a good cause!

MISSION 500 – The Security industry’s response to children in crisis

From the 10th-12th April 2013 Selectron president Martin Jones and IP Systems Specialist Paul Hartley will be attending the ISC West 2013 Show. This will be held at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas, where all the latest security products by specialist companies from across the globe will be on display.

Whilst there, both Martin and Paul will be taking part in the 4th annual Security 5k/2k run for Mission 500. This will take place on the second day of the expo, and whilst the run is supposed to be light hearted in nature, the charity which they are doing it for has a more serious message.

Below is a brief description of the charity and what they stand for:

‘Mission 500 is a strictly non-profit organization partnering with World Vision and dedicated to serving the needs of children and communities in crisis. By using our intimate knowledge of the security industry, we have helped focus industry efforts on sponsoring at least 500 Children in World Vision’s program with 100 percent of funds raised going directly to World Vision. Through corporate sponsorships and donors, our initiative has increased the number of sponsored children to more than 500 children.’

We would be extremely grateful if you could help us raise money and awareness for this worthwhile cause, so please spare 5 minutes of your time to sponsor us by clicking on one of the below links.
