Cycling Land’s End to John o’ Groats for a Cause Close to Our Hearts
We would like to share a cause that is very close to our hearts at Selectron and to ask for your support.
Our director Martin, alongside his friends David and Marc, is raising funds for two charities associated with the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in Liverpool. Their efforts are inspired by David’s son — and Martin’s godson — Shon, who was diagnosed with lymphoma at just 19 years old.
Throughout his treatment, Shon has shown incredible courage and resilience. The care and dedication provided by the medical teams at Clatterbridge have made a lasting impact on everyone involved, and this challenge is a way of giving something back in support of the vital work they do.
To raise funds, Martin, David and Marc will be cycling from Land’s End to John o’ Groats — a journey of more than 1,000 miles — which they aim to complete in just 14 days. It will be a demanding challenge, both physically and mentally, but one they are committed to completing in support of these important charities.
Any support, whether through donations or simply sharing the story, would be greatly appreciated. Every contribution helps make a meaningful difference.
